Belly dancing is an ancient art form, practiced in many Asian and eastern European countries. Women of ancient times used the dance to make childbirth easier and to recover more quickly after it. Belly dancing is a beautiful way to celebrate your growing body and prepare for the physical challenges of childbirth both before the birth and after. This renowned dance is a healthy physical workout that suits women at all stages of their life. Furthermore, by dancing barefoot, the belly dancer connects with the Great Mother Goddess, with the Earth, and with nature. The moves exhibited can be pure sensuousness and enticing, they have enchanted people since ancient times. Yet, beyond the erotic aspects it offers many physical and emotional benefits such as cardiovascular conditioning, health and mental relaxation.

Originating in Turkey it involves dancing in traditional Middle-Eastern style using two-piece outfits and props such as scarves, finger cymbals and bells. The costumes and moves that pertain to each country vary widely and reflect the local cultures tastes. Belly dancing is not only about the movements, but about mastering these movements in conjunction with the music, while combing them together to present an art form that is delivered in an enjoyable, creative manner.

It can introduce you to creative, social and cultural avenues, and is known for enhancing and encouraging physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual growth. As a living art it is handed down and taught from someone who knows and appreciates this art form.

Belly dancing is a lot of fun and is one of the few forms of entertainment where the performer can augment and adapt her performance according to the mood of the audience. When entertaining in a variety of venues such as restaurants, clubs and stage, the dancer can heighten her presentations to a level reflecting the mood of the audience.

If you are looking for a more physically and mentally healthy life then consider this beautiful form of expression. It is probably more popular today than ever, or at least more accessible to the masses. Classes are offered all over the US, as well as other parts of the world.

One of the greatest things you can do for your body is to dance to the cadence of pleasing music. Many scientific studies have shown that dance can improve your outlook on life and prevent depression and anxiety. Indeed, those who dance quite a bit have fewer injuries, stronger muscles and stay lean and trim. Staying in shape, improving your physical and mental health and taking off unnecessary weight is very wise. So, why is it that more people do not partake of the sport of dance?

Many people have fragile egos and low self-esteem and keeping rhythm to dance is not so easy for many folks. It takes practice and perhaps even dancing lessons. Some folks do not wish to take dance lessons because it makes them feel silly, of course, everyone has to start somewhere and it's a lot sillier to be unhappy and overweight and do not nothing about it. That makes no sense at all. So, where can one start?

Probably the best place to start is to consider what type of music you like best and figure out where they play that music and see if you fit into that group of people. Every city has various dancing clubs and you can either look them up online or peruse the "what's happening" section of your local newspaper. I think what you'll soon find is that there are many choices and options. Thus you can pick what's best for your style, level of skill and attitude and you'll "feel like dancing, dancing, dance the night away!" It's time to get thin and find yourself as a healthier and happier you.

Did you know?

France is the birthplace of Pierre de Coubertin, who is the father of the Olympic Movement. This Frenchman was born on January 1, 1863 in Paris. Pierre once said, "The Olympic Movement gives the world an ideal which reckons with the reality of life, and includes a possibility to guide this reality toward the great Olympic idea".

The Summer Olympic Games were held in Paris in 1900. For the first time, sportswomen were allowed to compete in the Olympics ( six tennis players ). France won first place in the Games with 26 gold, 41 silver and 34 bronze medals.

Marie-Jos Prec was one of France's greatest sportswomen. She was born in Guadeloupe ( Caribbean island ) and moved to France with her mother when she was sixteen. Marie-Jose became the second female athlete in the history of the Olympic Games to sweep the 200m and 400m ( Atlanta'96 ).

Like Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana and Reunion, New Caledonia -French territory in Oceania- is not member of the International Olympic Committee ( IOC ). Why? France does not allow its territories to compete in the Olympics. For this reason, New Caledonia's athletes can not compete in the Olympic Games. Unlike Guam ( American territory ), Aruba ( Dutch territory ) and Bermuda ( British territory ), it did not compete in the 2004 Olympics. Ironically, New Caledonia has several famous sportspeople in the South Pacific. Aquatics: Olivier Saminadin, Thomas Dahlia, Thomas Chacun, Reine-Victora Weber, Lara Grangeon, Diana Bui-Duyet, Adeline Williams and Gilles Durnesnil. Archery: Laurent Clerte, Emmanuel Guilhard, Henry Shiu, Isabelle Soeno and Sylvena Plazenet. Athletics: Vaikula Elise Takosi, Candice Soulisse, Erwin Casser, Bertrand Vili, Eric Frederic, Bina Ramesh, Eric Revillard, Phoebe Wejieme and Daniel Kilamo. Badminton: Nicolas Martoredjo, Florent Mathey, Marc-Antonie Desaynoz, Johanna Kou and Cecile Sarengat. Boxing: Christophe Lestage, Ataale Gyan and Hannequin Benoit. Judo: Sandrine Perel, Kyo Lussaud, Melissa Kaddour, Stephane Courtine, Jonathan Berger, Cyril Chevalier, Paul Dulac, Abedis Trindade de Abreu, Vaea Chadfeau and Diane Hillaireau. Sailing: Chrisptophe Renaud, Alban Rossollin, Feri Malhieu, Michael Borde, Cawle Dabin and Paiscillia Poaniewa. Shooting: Theodore Tein Weiawe, Fabrice Azarro and Phillipe Sinoni. Table tennis: Frederic Quach, Laurent Sens, Maxime Bataihard, Ornella Bouteille and Alexandra Heraclide. Taekwondo: Annie Odino, Kevin Belhameche, John Trouilet and Arnord Sariman. Tennis: Julien Couly, Elodie Rogge and Nickolas Ngodrela. Triathlon: Oliver Bargibant, Stephane Lacroix and Benedicte Meunier. At the last South Pacific Games held in Apia ( Samoa / formerly Western Samoa ) in November 2007, it finished 1st among 22 countries and territories. Certainly, New Caledonia has won more international gold medals per capita than any other country of the South Pacific.

Paris hosted the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in 1986. Final standings: 1.United States, 2.USSR ( currently Russia ), 3.Bulgaria, 4.Brazil, 5.Cuba, 6.France, 7.Argentina, 8.Czechoslovakia (currently Czech Republic/Slovak Republic), 9.Poland, 10.Japan, 11.China, 12.Italy, 13.Greece, 14.Venezuela, 15.Egypt, 16.Taiwan.

Jean Schopter became the first Frenchman to win the Roland Garros in 1892.

France send 243 athletes to the 1984 Los Angeles Games. It participated in 19 sports: archery ( 2 ), athletics (45), basketball ( 12 ), boxing ( 4 ), kayak ( 14 ), cycling ( 16 ), equestrian ( 11), fencing ( 20 ), football ( 17 ), gymnastics ( 9 ), wrestling ( 16 ), modern pentathlon ( 3 ), rowing ( 22 ), shooting ( 15 ), swimming ( 19 ), tennis ( 4 ), weightlifting ( 2 ), wrestling ( 8 ), sailing ( 12 ).

This European country won the gold medal in soccer at the 1984 Olympic Games in the United States.

France is the birthplace of fencing. Fencing was made part of the official program for the Olympics at the 1896 Athens Games.

Paris has hosted the Summer Olympics in 1924. There were 3,092 athletes from 44 countries who competed in 19 sports: athletics, aquatics, boxing, cycling, diving, equestrian, fencing, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, polo, rowing, rugby, sailing, shooting, soccer, tennis, water polo, weightlifting, wrestling. France came third with 13 golds, 15 silvers and 10 bronzes.

Eunice Barber is one of the most famous athletes in France. She was born on November 17, 1974 in Freetown, Sierra Leone ( Western Africa ), the world's poorest country. Eunice says, "I was fortunate to grow up in Sierra Leone, an English-speaking African country where sport is very present". For political and economic reasons, she moved to France when she was 18 years old. In the 1990s, Sierra Leone had one of Africa's bloodiest civil wars. More than 70,000 Africans had been killed and 150,000 had left the country. Under the banner of Sierra Leone, Eunice finished fifth in the heptathlon competition at the 1996 Olympic Games in the United States. For many sportswriters and experts, her Olympic performance was amazing. Three years later, she become a French citizen.

Top performances:

1999: European Cup-1st heptathlon

He admires Frida Kahlo (Mexican painter), Jos Gamarra (former president of the Bolivian Olympic Committee ,1970- 1982), Hillary Clinton (ex-First Lady of the USA), and Jimmy Carter (former President of the USA). Alejandro said: "The person who I admire the most is Jos Gamarra . He devoted his professional and personal life to sport. Jos played an important role in the promotion of Olympism in Bolivia -it is one of the Third World`s poorest countries- and Latin America. His biography is interesting". The sportspeople he most admire is Olympic volleyball player Flo Hyman. "This African-American sportswoman is my idol... "

Customer Review: No rhythm no problem
I will say this I'm Hispanic so I did know some Salsa before I purchased this DVD. I wanted to learn some advanced moves and I realized before I purchased this video that prob wasn't for me. It wasn't but it did teach me some basic concepts in general. It also taught me how to turn. I'm a natural dancer but it gave me concrete steps which I just do without thinking. That being said I do believe this will teach ANYBODY to dance. He gives so much detail and repetition there is no way you won't be able to pick it up. I love the hand tricks. Also I didn't have a partner and this a partner video. Don't buy if you have dance experience.
Customer Review: Easy to follow.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow. My husband has absolutely no rythym and he picked up the steps.

Karaoke: Coldplay

Two-time professional champion of ABC's hit television show "Dancing With The Stars," Julianne Hough has recently begun focusing on yet another talent - singing.

On May 20, Hough released her self-titled debut album of country music. In the spirit of something her most infamous critics Carrie Anne, Len and Bruno (the judges from the show that made her famous) might say, Hough's debut is very good but there is always some room for improvement.

The best track on the album is probably the first single, "That Song In My Head," which has all the qualities of a fun and catchy tune. Two other songs that really seem to stand out are "My Hallelujah Song" and "About Life" for their sweet vocals and notable themes respectively.

The majority of the tracks fall into what a typical music fan might consider the average to slightly above average category. But, the songs "You, You, You" and "Jimmy Ray McGee" are two examples works that seem either overdone or lacking originality and show the existence of the aforementioned "room for improvement".

Overall, Hough's is something of a breath of fresh air. In an industry that glorifies promiscuity and materialism, she is a complete change of pace. Her debut album gives the music world a refreshing taste of a wholesome and classic country style. And, if she keeps working at it, she could make quite a name for herself as a musician similar to how she has already done so with her skills on the dance floor.

I'd recommend this record to anyone who is more than just a casual country music fan with a passing interest.

Detonating a nuclear weapon in or over Juarez, Mexico is the same thing as detonating one in El Paso, Texas: The difference is it may be a little easier to effect in Juarez. From the heart of downtown El Paso to downtown Juarez is just a very short distance. Or a bomb on the international bridge dividing the two countries empties into Avenida Jurez in downtown Juarez, on the south and El Paso downtown to the north could do the job and would be easy for any terrorist to pull off. Nowhere else on the planet are two major cities of two different nations so closely tied together and vulnerable - or so easy to visit from either side day or night.

One nuclear weapon placed in Juarez Mexico could kill up-wards of two million people almost half of them Americans living in both El Paso and Juarez.

Just a historical reminder: The atomic bomb named "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima by the Enola Gay, a Boeing B-29 bomber, at 8:15 in the morning of August 6, 1945 - 62 years ago.

Of growing concern to some U.S. officials is the way the terrorists south of the border are taking advantage of the lack of sophistication on the Mexicans part for their inability and unwillingness to protect their own borders from terrorist infiltration and are using the low Mexican immigration standards and the U.S. open border to slip into Mexico or the U.S. with a nuclear weapon or dirty bomb.

Former CIA Director R. James Woolsey told NewsMax in an exclusive interview that terrorists could strike the American homeland - possibly with a weapon of mass destruction.
A terrorist strike with a nuclear, dirty bomb or with biological weapons was "a real possibility." Woolsey's comments echo those of FBI Director Robert Mueller, who told NewsMax that al-Qaeda's paramount goal is clear: to detonate a nuclear device that would kill hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Tens of millions of radical Muslims, mostly of Arabic descent, live in Latin America.
International law-enforcement authorities combating terrorism have growing concerns about a major influx into Mexico of Arabic-speaking visitors carrying Cuban, Russian, Greece, Holland and other European passports.

Many of the passport holders could not even speak the language of their so-called mother land, according to a secret report given to the Mexican legislators.
Intelligence sources have been warning us that they have noticed a tendency among Islamic terrorists to operate in Mexico. Mexico with a territory slightly bigger than Alaska and with geographic extremes that have proven perfect for hiding bombs, weapons, illegal aliens, and drugs is currently what's going on south of our border.

According to the "INM" (Mex. Immigr.) Just last week six adult male Iraqis were arrested in Tapachula, state of Chiapas, while attempting to reach the Distrito Federal of Mexico and to proceed to the United States from that point. In their preliminary declaration, the six said they entered through Central America, reached Guatemala and that there they purchased the false passports from Greece and Holland which they initially presented to Mexican officials when arrested. They also claimed they crossed the Suchiate River (bordering Mexico and Guatemala) on a raft.

The names on the phony passports were Hristov Eroslavov Dobromir, Mirian Sitkinas, Carlos Harden, Stevan Bergian, Vasileios Venetis and Vasilev Martinov Georgi.
Another two Iraqis with false Bulgarian passports were detected and detained at the airport in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Now, Mexican officials are reportedly investigating "a network that could be made up of Mexicans operating in Greece who is selling false Bulgarian passports for ten thousand dollars to European and Middle Eastern citizens." Last year 28 illegal's from Iraq were detected at the airport in Monterrey alone (El Porvenir said there were 23, seventeen of them in a single event)

The latest two, "Wisam Gorgies", 34 yr. old male, and "Rana Nazar Peyoz", 26 yr. old female, flew from Madrid and said they obtained the false passports in Greece; their aim was to reach the United States.

The Mexican government is very concerned with the up-tick of known Mexican communist party members who are being converted to Islam this arises from recent immigrants who import new radical jihadi philosophies into their ranks. These people are also active in Islamic missionary work converting the poor and destitute with promises of a better life under Islam.
These terrorists are organized in active cells around the country of Mexico according to a Mexican General who wants to remain nameless. I have seen documents describing part of the drug-smuggling cartels cooperation with terrorists using their existing routes though Mexico to the states. Islamic terrorists are paying millions to the Mexicans to transport their drugs from Afghanistan, as well as weapons and people. These elaborate well defined drug routes run through a web of border crossings pointing also to the complex cooperation between various "smuggling cartels and the terrorists." These belong to jihadi organizations such as al-Qaeda, joining forces with local drug lords, developing and greasing their smuggling skids with money all the way to Mexico aiming ultimately to hit the U.S.

With the nature of lawlessness, graft, poverty and disorder in Mexico, enables operatives of such terrorist groups as al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas to operate with impunity. These organizations have turned Mexico into a logistical attack base.
The growing danger is that the militant Islam terrorists have penetrated Mexico. Some of them have ties to smugglers operating in American states bordering Mexico, especially those with connections in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and California.

Experienced anti-terror experts report the Mexican border is the Achilles heel of the Department of Homeland Security.
Islam is on the move in Mexico and throughout Latin America, making dramatic gains in converting the native population, increasing immigration, establishing businesses and charities and attracting attention from U.S. government officials who have asked their neighbors to the south to keep an eye on foreign Muslim groups.
Al-Qaeda and other allied organizations are expanding operations throughout Mexico, establishing both legitimate and criminal enterprises to help fund future attack operations.
According to U.S. Ambassador to Venezuela Charles Shapiro, almost every extremist terror group is now represented in Latin America.

Pentagon officials have confirmed human smuggling rings in Latin America are attempting to sneak al-Qaeda operatives into the U.S.
Anti-terrorism experts say extremist cells tied to Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and al-Qaeda network are operating in Argentina, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Uruguay.
FBI Director Robert Mueller told a congressional panel that illegal aliens from countries with ties to al-Qaeda have crossed into the U.S. from Mexico using false identities.
Mueller said some of the aliens are people with Middle Eastern names who have adopted Hispanic last names before coming into the U.S.
"We are concerned, Homeland Security is concerned about special interest aliens entering the United States," Mueller said.

The U.S. Bush administration officials have previously said al-Qaeda could try to infiltrate the United States through the Mexican border.
Al-Qaeda has become deeply involved in cocaine and heroine trafficking, arms and uranium smuggling, counterfeiting CDs and DVDs and money-laundering activities.
Cash laden Non-Mexicans often are more difficult to intercept because they typically pay high-end smugglers a large sum of money to efficiently assist them in setting up in Mexico or help them across the border, rather than traverse it on their own.

According to the WorldNetDaily many of America's enemies have chosen Mexico as a target to locate and undermine security in the Americas and weaken America politically and strategically. America's various adversaries have chosen Mexico as their infiltration route. And American politicians are opening the doors wide to our enemies with NAFTA and The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) programs.

Robert Grenier, who was head of the CIA's counter-terrorism center, told a press conference in Mexico that the Muslim terrorist organizations see the illegal immigration and drug trafficking networks in the Latin American nations as the most effective way to move people and equipment into the US.
Grenier said that the Bush Administration fears both Hamas and Hizballah may already have sleeper cells operating in Mexico.
Hamas and Hizballah have both threatened in the past to extend their war against Israel to include the United States.

History: Fiction or Science? (Chronology, No. 1)

Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Customer Review: Treading on sore toes?
The professional historians faint as prominent mathematician Doctor Fomenko et al research the known historical data and come to fairly controversial conclusions. For example, the English historians rage at the suggestion that the history of Ancient England was de facto a Byzantine import transplanted to the English soil by the fugitive Byzantine nobility. As the sign of recognition of the special role of the English historians who consider themselves the true scribes of World History, the cover of the present book portrays Tintoretto's Jesus Christ crucified on the Big Ben. The Russian historians brand it as pseudoscience because Dr Fomenko asserts that there was no such thing as the Tartar and Mongol invasion followed by over two centuries of slavery, providing a formidable body of documental evidence to prove his assertion. The so-called `Tartars and Mongols' were the actual ancestors of the modern Russians, living in a trilingual state and aspiring Global Empire with Arabic and Turkic spoken as freely as Russian. The ancient proto-Russian state was governed by a double structure of civil and military authorities and the hordes were actually professional armies with a tradition of lifelong conscription (the recruitment being the so-called `blood tax'). Their `invasions' were punitive operations against the regions that attempted tax evasion. Fomenko proves for a fact that official Russian history is a blatant forgery concocted by a host of German scholars brought to Russia by the usurper dynasty of the Romanovs. Their ascension to the throne was the result of conspiracy, so they charged these German historians-imports with the noble mission of making Romanov's reign look legitimate. Dr Fomenko et al prove Ivan the Terrible to be a collation of four rulers, no less. These rulers represented the two rival dynasties - the legitimate Godounovs and the ambitious Romanov upstarts. The European historians fume not only because Fomenko blows consensual Russian history to smithereens, successfully removing a crucial cornerstone from underneath the otherwise impeccable edifice of World History but for asserting that all medieval European Kings and Princes were but breakaway vice-regents and vassals of the Global Empire who badly needed glorious and very `ancient' past in order to legitimize their new independence from the Empire. Dr Fomenko adds insult to injury, wiping out one by one: the Ancient Rome: the foundation of Rome in Italy is dated to the 14th century A. D., the Ancient Greece and its numerous poleis, which he identifies as the mediaeval crusader settlements on the territory of Greece, the Ancient Egypt: the pyramids of Giza become dated to the 11th to 14th century A. D. and identified as the royal cemetery of the Global Empire, no less. The civilization of the `ancient'' Egypt is irrefutably dated to the 11th to 15th century A. D. following the breakthrough in decoding of the ancient Egyptian horoscopes cut in stone and painted on the temple walls. Arabic historians may find some consolation in the crucial historical role of the Ottoman Empire as a part of the Global empire in the 15th - 17th century. The trouble is that this Empire was initially a proto-Christian state, with Hagia Sophia identifiable as Temple of Solomon, but built in 1550-1557 A.D. by Sultan Suleiman according to Fomenko and Islam with all its key figures is datable to 15th 16th century A. D.! The Chinese historians are also an unhappy lot because Fomenko wipes out the Ancient History of China outright. No such history. Period. The compilation of the so-called Ancient Chinese History is reliably datable to the 17th 18th century only. It is perfectly recognizable as the Ancient European history, reworked and transcribed in hieroglyphs as yet another historical transplantation. The Divinity excommunicates Dr Fomenko because the history of religions according to Fomenko looks as follows: the pre-Christian period (before the 11th century and Jesus Christ ), Bacchic Christianity (11th to 12th century, before and after Jesus Christ), Jesus Christ Christianity (12th to 14th century) and its subsequent mutations (15th to 17th cy) into Orthodox Christianity, the Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, Buddhism, and so on..; and The Old Testament written after the New Testament in xiv-xvi cy A.D., if you please! Everybody served? Saint Augustine was quite prescient when he said: "be wary of mathematicians, particularly when they speak the truth."
Customer Review: Has history been tampered with?
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RAZQNMXM4M9CL Has history been tampered with? Yes, it has! Did events and eras such as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Roman Empire , the Dark Ages, and the Renaissance, actually occur within a very different chronology from what we've been told? Yes, they certainly did! The history of humankind is both drastically shorter and dramatically different than generally presumed. Why is it so? On one hand, it was usual custom to justify the claims to title and land by age and ancestry, and on the other the court historians knew only too well how to please their masters. The so called universal classic world history is a pack of intricate lies for all events prior to the 16th century. World history as we learn it today was entirely fabricated in the 16th-18th centuries. It's likely that nobody told you before, but there is not a single piece of firm written evidence or artefact that is reliably and independently dated prior to the 11th century. Naturally, after what you've learned in school and university, you will not easily believe that the classical history of ancient Rome, Greece, Asia, Egypt, China, Japan, India, etc., is manifestly false. You will point accusing finger to the pyramids in Egypt, to the Coliseum in Rome and Great Wall of China etc., and claim, aren't they really ancient, thousands of years ancient? Well, there is no valid scientific proof that they are older than 1000 years! The oldest original written document that can be reliably dated belongs to the 11th century! New research asserts that Homo sapiens invented writing (including hieroglyphics) only 1000 years ago. Once invented, writing skills were immediately and irreversibly put to the use of ruling powers and science. The consensual chronology we live with was essentially crafted in the 16th century by the Jesuits. The world history was compiled from contradictory mix of innumerable copies of ancient Latin and Greek manuscripts and other irrefutable proofs delivered by late mediaeval astronomers that were cemented by the authority of writings of the Church Fathers. Early in life, we learn about ancient history. Children love the magical lessons of history - they are like fairy tales. Teachers recite breathtaking stories; very soon We learn by heart the names and deeds of brave warriors, wise philosophers, fabulous pharaohs, cunning high priests and greedy scribes. We learn of gigantic pyramids and sinister castles, kings and queens, dukes and barons, powerful heroes and beautiful ladies, emaciated saints and low-life traitors. Ancient history is based documents, manuscripts, printed books, paintings, monuments and artefacts - called primary sources. The problem is that neither these ancient documents, nor events described therein can be irrefutably dated, moreover they contradict each other for the most part. When a school textbook tells us that Genghis Khan in year X or Alexander in year Y, have each conquered half of the world, it means only that it is so said in some of the written sources. There are no answers to simple questions: When were these primary sources written? Where and by whom were these sources found? It is wrongly presumed that ancient and medieval chronicles, written by Genghis Khan's or Alexander the Great contemporaries and eyewitnesses, are readily available. Actually, only sources written hundreds or even thousands of years after the events are there, compiled mostly in the 16th 18th centuries, or even later. As a rule, these sources suffered considerable multiple manipulations, falsifications and distortions by editing. At the same time, innumerable originals of ancient documents under various pretexts were destroyed in Europe under various pretexts. The names of persons and geographical sites often changed meaning and location during the course of the centuries. Geographical locations became clearly defined on maps only with the advent of printing. This made possible the circulation of identical copies of the same map for purposes of the military, navigation, education and governance tasks. Historians from Oxford say: "hey, everybody knows that Julius Caesar lived in the first century B.C. `Julius Caesar' statement is only a point of view as there is simply no irrefutable documentary proof that Julius Caesar or any other great name of antiquity ever existed. Better than that - extremely rare sources that can be reliably dated back to the 10th-14th centuries A D, do not show the polished picture of classical history. They show a picture both contradictory and confusing. All methods of dating of ancient sources and artefacts are erroneous: Radio-carbon C14 method produces dating with exactitude of plus minus 1500 years, therefore it is too crude for dating of events in historical timeframe! The Almagest tractate, which lies as corner stone contemporary chronology, compiled in the 2nd century A D by Ptolemy, the founding father of astronomy, contains astronomical data of 9th to 16th century! The Bronze Age,that has supposedly began 5000 years ago. Bronze is made of 90% copper and 10% tin, but the technology for tin extraction dates back to 14th century A D!. All eclipses contained in manuscripts, like Thucydides one, relating 'ancient' events have exclusively medieval dating. All horoscopes cut in stone or painted in Egyptian temples, like Dendera have exclusively early medieval dating solutions. Not quite what you have learned in school? Open your eyes, and, you will find sufficient proof to reach step by step the inevitable conclusion that the classical chronology is false and therefore, that the history of ancient and medieval world universally accepted today, is also false. Have a fresh outlook on everything said or printed about "ancient" and "enigmatic" Roman, Greek and Egyptian, medieval as well as all other "lost and found" civilizations. Antiquity and Dark Ages are phantoms invented in the 16th 18th and polished in 19th 20thcenturies. Human civilization is in fact barely 1000 years old! This book will change your perception of History forever! What if Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt were invented during Renaissance? What if The Old Testament was a rendition of events of the Middle Ages? What if Jesus Christ was born in 1053 and crucified in 1086 AD? Sounds Unbelievable? Not after you've read "History: Fiction or Science?" by Anatoly Fomenko, the genius mathematician. Armed with astronomy and computers Anatoly Fomenko turns History into a rocket science.

People dance for different reasons: for competition, to keep fit, meet new people, or simply to have a little fun. It's even become a way of visiting new countries, as shown by the growing popularity of dance holidays in Cuba, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Egypt and many other countries. But, whether they like to admit it or not, most people would in some way agree with the definition of dancing as "a vertical expression of a horizontal desire."

Let's face it, out of the list that I started with, all except the first have probably got some link to feeling sexy or meeting people to feel sexy with, and nowhere is this more apparent than in Cuba. Salsa, Mambo, Rumba, and Cha Cha Cha are some of the islands most prominent styles of dance, and each one is intimate, flirtatious and an important part of traditional courtship rituals in Cuba. Salsa may be the most well known of the island's dances, but is it the sexiest?

History of Dance in Cuba

For any visitor on holiday in Cuba, dance is inescapable. It is part of the culture, rooted in its mixed Spanish and African heritage. Most forms of dance in Cuba have evolved from Rumba, also know as Son. This older style came to Cuba in the 19th century, and ranges from the slow and formal Rumba Yambu to the fast and overtly sexual Rumba Guaguanco. The more modern styles of Mambo, Salsa and Cha Cha Cha were all born in the aftermath of the Communist revolution in the 1950s. It was a revolution in Cuba's dance halls as well as its politics, with the excitement of change fuelling passionate and inventive new forms of dance. Due to their common roots, many of the styles have similarities, such as the distinctive Latin hip movement and close footwork. Salsa and Mambo are based on a "quick-quick-slow" rhythm, while the Cha Cha Cha has a quick three step in place of the slow step.

Learning the moves

Whether you are drawn to Mambo or Cha Cha Cha, Rumba or Salsa, a dance holiday in Cuba can provide the best introduction to your style of choice. The capital, Havana, features the best clubs for Salsa in Cuba, while the northern city of Matanzas was one of the birthplaces of Rumba. A dance holiday in Cuba certainly isn't the only way of learning your first Cuban dance moves, and it can certainly help to have a handle on the basics before splashing out on a trip abroad. But a taste of Latin American culture can be vital to really get into these dances, and a holiday in Cuba, Salsa oriented or otherwise, can only help you get into the swing of things.

Dirty Dancing

When it comes to judging which of the Cuban dance styles is the sexiest I have to admit to a certain bias; I fell in love with the Salsa dance on holiday in Cuba a long time ago. The island has shared its popular coffee, cigars and rum with the world, but when it comes to rating the finest export of Cuba, the Salsa dance should rank high on anyone's list. It's now evolved into many different styles and is practised by millions of amateurs and experts around the world, but the Salsa in Cuba remains the original and best.

Part of the appeal of the Cuban Salsa dance is its accessibility. Basic Salsa dancing is easy to learn, much more so than some of the other styles of dance in Cuba. Salsa is as tough a dance to master as any, but you can pick up the basic three step within a very short space of time; once you've got that, you're ready to go. You won't be winning competitions, but you'll be good enough to have fun and feel good on the dance floor.

Sexier than Son and more intimate than the Cha Cha Cha, it may not be the most beautiful or complicated dance in the world, but for me at least, Salsa in Cuba is still the sexiest dance of them all.

Corporations are aware that their culture is instrumental in deciding their productivity and profit as much as their product. Most of the corporate events are aimed at instilling a desired culture or acquaint new staff to the existing culture. The choice of location is also important. For a company that puts a premium on ideas, an open and natural setting is preferred to trigger off creative ideas. Horseback riding, trekking, mountain climbing, parachute jumping, canoeing and river rafting are some outdoor events, which aim at improving team spirit among corporate clients.

Music has always been the life of any event. Corporate events are no exception. A manager who is known for his tough exterior can lead his executives to have a glimpse of his humane side by the choice of songs to be played by the DJ in a corporate party. Live music entertainment is also the central theme of many corporate events. Music can really loosen up people to relate better with each other.
